COLUMBIA, S.C. (March 20, 2017) – Sagacious Partners chief operating officer and partner Meghan Hickman has been named to The State Media Co.’s 2017 list of 20 people under the age of 40 who are making a difference in our region. The class was selected by The State from more than 70 nominations submitted by readers, and will be honored this week at a reception at the Capital City Club.

Hickman was honored for her role as partner and COO of Sagacious Partners, and as executive director for Sagacious Partners’ longest-standing client, EngenuitySC, a Midlands nonprofit focused on enhancing the region’s competitiveness and prosperity. She describes her dual role as “the greatest job I never knew I wanted.”

Hickman’s community service and accolades include Girl Scouts of South Carolina Mountains to Midlands board member; Greater Columbia Chamber of Commerce board member; USC School of Journalism and Mass Communications, 2016 Outstanding Young Alumni Award; Charlotte Business Journal Energy Inc.
